Our story is a good story! Welcome, my name is Heidi.

 My daughter Mia and I are the directors here at Weefolkfarm, a nature based daycare for little ones.  I have been caring for small children for some 30 years.  I worked for 5 years with young children ranging form 18 months to 5 at a wonderful childcare facility in Rhode Island, Little Friends Farm (now called Bloom) a Waldorf inspired daycare as a teachers assistant.

 

19 years ago I opened here at the farm with many beautiful children passing through.  Mia grew up with the children since she was little herself. She has been working with me for over 4 years now, after graduating with her degree in Early Childhood Education (also minored in Business.)

I took with me all the wonderful things that resonated at "Little Friends" and brought them here to the farm where I can share this wonderful place .

The facility is my home, a very old farmhouse. It's a cozy home environment on 3 acres of land overlooking a lake.  Plenty of outdoor space including many gardens, small farm animals, and a small fairy nature path in the woods.  It's a licensed family care center that is full of magic and harmony.
